MB&G staff spent time last week celebrating our 100th anniversary by planting oak trees in our centennial grove as part of a native oak restoration project. Four Oregon white oaks, one Willamette Valley Ponderosa pine, Camas seeds, and other native herbs and shrubs were planted to convert the area back to an oak prairie. MB&G also took the opportunity to bury a time capsule to commemorate the centennial event and leave for future generations of MB&G staff to open.
Chelan County has been working to develop a forest products campus within the County.
