MB&G adopted a section of Highway 22 in 2022 to maintain as part of our established community service program. This section of Highway 22 has a particularly sentimental meaning for our team as it is where our field work started on the ODOT Hazard Debris Removal project in the Beachie Creek fire corridor in December 2020 and includes several sensitive resources including a large wetland. MB&G did their fourth formal clean up on Earth Day and here are some great photos from the event.

The greater ODOT Hazard Debris Cleanup Team, including MB&G, was awarded the Mary Olson award at the annual Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Fall Forum. This is “the highest honor the Oregon Transportation Commission can give and is focused on individuals and teams that demonstrate leadership qualities of initiative, innovation, and integrity and in turn raise the image of ODOT.”
Congratulations to our staff who worked long hours, sacrificed weekends, and invested untold amounts of energy to make this happen. This is an award that honors them and the dedication they’ve brought to this project. A huge thank you to our staff for helping to restore these communities.
