MB&G was able to provide funding to several organizations this year as part of our 2021 charitable giving initiatives. MB&G focuses on organizations that promote natural resource-based philanthropy and education in our local areas. This year we were able to support Red Cross Wildfire Relief, Forests Today and Forever, Ecology in Classrooms & Outdoors, Friends of Outdoor School,Santiam Canyon Wildfire Relief Fund, Douglas County timber Operators, Cascades Raptor Center, Women in Environment, OSAF Foundation, and Forestry Challenge. We had a great year celebrating our 100-year anniversary as a company, and we are looking forward to continuing to give back in 2022.

Field days often reveal more than what’s on the map. Recently, our foresters wrapped up a timber check cruise on scattered parcels in SW Oregon. Our role was to audit contractor cruise data and revisit plots to identify any potential discrepancies.
